This stuff is amazing. It captures nearly its whole weight in carbon and other harmful stuff before using it to nourish your plants.

Let's put that into perspective. Not only will every five kilograms of Biochar used increase the fertility of your soil; it will absorb four kilograms of carbon dioxide for more than 1000 years.

Biochar helps your soil retain water and essential nutrients and increases the effects of green and organic fertilisers. It also reduces harmful effects of chemical pesticides and suppresses those two pesky green-house gases, methane and nitrous-oxide.

Biochar is sourced from foresters, sawmills, paper mills, farm waste and councils.

It's all about nature's natural cycle. Simply add about 10 per cent to your compost and you see dramatically improved crops, flowers and shrubs.
